| The Holy Grail of Pocket Size Aviation
R/C aviation is usually a sport relegated only to the highly skilled and think-skinned individuals amongst us. You know the drill: Spend hours breathing glue fumes to assemble your airplane masterpiece... only to have it crash in seconds on the first flight. And don't even get us started on helicopters. Notoriously expensive and difficult to fly. R/C helicopters are usually piloted by rich mechanical engineers with wizardlike dexterity who don't mind seeing expensive toys crash and smash into small bits.
Ahh... but not anymore young unskilled geek or geekette. 2shopper's Micro R/C Helicopter is fully assembled and ready to fly in less than 5 minutes. Piloting this mini copter is a snap and it can survive virtually any type of crash unscathed. With full flight control in any direction you can make the helicopter take off from your desk then land on your hand. It can hover in place almost motionless like some futuristic robotic insect. We had 3-year old children fly this helicopter without damaging it. It is like some kind of R/C space time continuum paradox.
The secret of the Micro R/C Helicopter comes down to the torque control afforded by the dual rotor design. A traditional helicopter with only one rotor generates massive torque when the top blade spins. Normally this would cause the copter to spin out of control, but the rotor on the tail is designed to offset this torque. Therefore piloting a traditional helicopter involves constantly adjusting the tail speed whenever you increase the speed of the top rotor... difficult and time consuming to learn. The 2Shopper Micro R/C Helicopter has dual rotors on the top which spin in opposite directions. These opposite spinning blades cancel out uncontrolled torque making for incredibly stable flight. The tail rotor is then used to pitch the copter to fly forward or reverse. It's a genius system that is simply a joy to fly.
Important Note:
Keep in mind that while our cool Micro R/C Helicopter is very easy to fly. "Easy" is a relative term and it will take some practice before you perfect your helicopter jedi skillz. |
